We purchased the property in 2020. The property was truly a "sight un-seen". The farm was completey grew up, and at the time we were not sure what it would look like but our hearts told us to continue the process, and our prayers were answered after years of looking for a farm. Our entire goal at the time was to buy the farm, and build a home there. Soon after, our oldest daughter got engaged and was looking for a wedding venue. The plans were orignally to build a barn for equipment and things needed for the farm. Once we helped her search for venues and saw the prices, we shortly realized we could create a venue for the asking price that most venues wanted for one weekend, and then be able to watch others create memories and special moment in their lives on our beautiful farm for a reasonable price. Therefore, the farm and property shortly gathered its name as "Worth the Wait Farms Venue" Our venue sits on 50 acres of property offering a mix of indoor and outdoor space for your event that is paired with serene countryside views. The climate controlled barn offers 1800 square feet inside along with covered porches adding 1400 square feet outside which offers space for catering, and is located roughly 20 minutes from the Red River Gorge.
